About Kintsugi

Kintsugi is a centuries-old Japanese craft, giving new life to objects that would otherwise be discarded. Broken ceramic objects are carefully pieced back together. Kintsugi is based on the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi: finding beauty in imperfection.

Art Kintsugi uses safer and accessible alternatives to Urushi and 24K gold. This makes it more suitable for half day introduction workshops.
